Changing the face of student conferences.

SixtyOne is the coalition of two powerhouses; New Wine and Fusion. A conference that aims to create a space for students and young adults to prioritise faith, family and friendships over a long weekend.

The Brief

We were brought in by the SixtyOne team to build an identity for a brand new annual student conference beginning in the summer of 2021. The identity should be engaging, creative, and most importantly; versatile. It needed to resonate with its audience and immediately bring people on board.

The Outcome

We crafted something bright and type-centric that allowed us to build a fundamentally flexible identity. Across print and digital our approach was to keep it simple whilst keeping it on point and relatable to both existing and prospective stakeholders.

Simplicity is key.

Whilst keeping the audience at the heart of the process we worked hard to create a minimal palette of colour, type and assets ensuring that the brand was communicated effectively and engagingly across multiple channels.

Creating spaces.

As part of the conference there will be multiple β€˜Spaces’ for the students and young adults to enjoy. Each of these spaces has a different series of aims and objectives. Whilst these spaces needed to tie in with the overall visual language we were able to expand on typographic choices and vary things up a little.
